A-Plus Brings Philippine Educational-IT Expertise to Japan

In the recently concluded 4th Educational IT Solutions Expo (EDIX) at the Tokyo Big Sight on May 15 to 17, 2013, A-Plus Language Online (A-Plus), a leading online provider of language learning solutions, wowed both Japanese students and institutions with its certified teachers, innovative online education platform and learning system.

H. E. Manuel M. Lopez, (4th from right), Valentino Cabansag (rightmost) and other representatives from Philippine Embassy in Japan visited the A-Plus Language Online booth during the 4th EDIX trade show in Tokyo. The A-Plus delegation was headed by Lilian Reventar (5th from right) and Armando Osias, Jr. (3rd from right).

A-Plus showcased the full range of online language services it offers including virtual classroom, learning management system, and curriculum development, which are currently used in the Philippines and China. Visitors to the booth who experienced the real-time demo were greatly impressed by the different tools and features of the online platform which includes a virtual blackboard, file sharing, video, and online access. Most of all, they liked the professionalism of the teachers in delivering the lessons which left them wanting for more.

According to Lilian S. Reventar, Managing Director of A-Plus, they have demonstrated beyond a doubt that they possess the capabilities and resources to deliver online language learning anytime, anywhere and addressed the Japanese demand for high quality and dependable e-learning services.

Supporting A-Plus at EDIX was the Global Online Association for Learning (GOAL), a non-profit group that aims to advance and professionalize online education in the Philippines. Based on client feedback and visitor enquiries, GOAL sees numerous opportunities for Philippine businesses engaged in e-learning, particularly online English language learning.

Also showing its support to the only Philippine company at the expo was the Embassy of the Philippines in Japan led by Ambassador Manuel Lopez. He shared the good news that the Philippine government has plans of starting a program, with the assistance of organizations like A-Plus and GOAL, to generate jobs for Filipinos in the Language Tourism industry. He also advised the team to bank on the solid relationship between Japan and the Philippines to forge opportunities with Japanese firms and schools.

With companies like A-Plus Language Online vying to provide high quality language learning services to more people who want to become global citizens through the mastery of different languages, we are moving towards better international relations day by day.
